MSSP Oratory Youth invites you to our next edition of Bible&Beer—an evening where we come together in a relaxed space to share good food, good conversation, and deep questions.
At Bible&Beer, we aim to create a space where youths can sit around a table, listen to well-informed speakers, and engage in open, honest discussions about the issues that shape our lives and faith. With a plate in one hand and a drink in the other, we dive into topics that matter and debate, while we explore and reflect as a community.
This time, we’re tackling a subject that’s rapidly changing the world around us: Artificial Intelligence. From how AI is influencing education, work, and pastoral care, to questions about human dignity, critical thinking, and moral responsibility—there’s so much for us to unpack. What should the Church say about AI? Can it help us in our mission, or does it risk dehumanizing us? What ethical lines need to be drawn, and how can our faith help guide the way forward?
A panel of speakers from the fields of academia and technology, law and ethics, will lead us into this conversation, helping us look at the opportunities and challenges AI brings from an ethical and faith related perspective.
If you’re curious, concerned, or just keen for a good discussion in good company, come along. We’d love to have you with us.
To help cover costs, we ask for a €12 donation, which includes food and drink. Open to youth ages 18 to 35; alcohol will be served.
Date: 26 June 2025
Time: 8.00pm
Location: Oratory MSSP, Birkirkara
