Bible&Beer is a space where we gather over food and drink to engage the questions and tensions that shape our lives today. The topics grow out of real conversations from past sessions, shaped by curiosity, concern, and a genuine desire to understand. The name itself raises a question: what does the Bible have to do with beer? Maybe nothing on the surface, and thatโs precisely the point. This is a space where faith meets real life, where the Gospel is brought into conversation with the social and ethical realities we live in.
This session turns the spotlight on From Stranger to Neighbour: Third Country Nationals in Malta. Together, we will explore what it means to live in a society that is changing rapidly, where questions of identity, belonging, work, and dignity are no longer abstract but deeply personal. Beneath everyday conversations lie deeper tensions: between opportunity and exploitation, integration and assimilation, stability and change. This evening creates space to name those tensions honestly and to reflect on the kind of society we are becoming, not in theory, but in the way we live alongside one another.
Our panel brings together voices that connect thought, experience, and lived reality.
Organized by MSSP Oratory Youth, this event is open to the general public and invites everyone into a conversation where Church, faith, and society meet. Bible&Beer remains informal, honest, and grounded, because meaningful change rarely begins with answers, but with the courage to stay in the questions.
To help cover costs, we ask for a โฌ15 donation, which includes food and drink. Open to everyone 18 and over; alcohol will be served.
