Every September, MSSP Oratory Youth gathers for ECHO, a non-residential weekend faith camp where young adults come together to pray, reflect, laugh, share life, and grow in faith. It is a weekend to step away from the noise of everyday life, make space for God, and journey alongside others who are searching for something deeper.
Last year, we explored what it means to be a community and discovered that faith is never meant to be lived alone. This year, our journey brings us to the heart of our faith: the Word of God. In a world overflowing with opinions, noise and distractions, we want to rediscover the Bible not as an ancient book, but as a living word that continues to speak into our lives, giving direction, hope and purpose for today.
ECHO 2026 will take place from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September and is open to young adults aged 18 to 35. Whether this is your first ECHO or you’ve joined us before, we would love to welcome you for a weekend of prayer, meaningful conversations, friendship, worship, and moments that have the potential to stay with you long after the weekend comes to an end.
Full programme and registration details can be found below. We look forward to welcoming you.
ECHO is where we begin the year together. Before calendars fill up and life picks up speed again, we choose to set aside one weekend to invest in what often gets pushed aside: our relationship with God, with one another, and with ourselves. Whether you’re taking your first steps in faith or simply longing to go deeper, ECHO is an invitation to start the year intentionally, surrounded by a community that walks the journey together.
We often carry a Bible on our shelves or on our phones, but how often do we allow it to shape the way we live? This year’s theme, Living His Word, is an invitation to rediscover Scripture as something alive and relevant. Together, we’ll explore how God’s Word can speak into our questions, influence our choices, and become something we don’t just read, but truly live, every single day.
It is an invitation to fully be present. From prayer and group sharing to socializing, outreach, and Eucharist, each moment is part of the journey. We encourage you to stay for the whole weekend, not to come and go, so we can truly walk this together. The rhythm is simple, but rich: meals, reflection, laughter, silence, and friendship, held across three days that could shape the year ahead.
