We have been regularly attending the oratory for around 6 years. Like many others, many times, we feel that we are living on a treadmill without having any control over the speed. It seems though we have to constantly conform and perform with ever increasing expectations that seem so hard to live up to.
Somehow, at the Oratorju MSSP we manage to Pause, Reflect and Reconnect with what truly matters through a Christ centered spirituality based on His word. It helped us embrace the Catholic liturgy in a way that it deepens our spiritual experience. We came to understand how we have been settling for less with a much higher price.
The oratory welcomes whoever wants to attend and reaches out to people at the place they are in, offering many ways of spiritual nourishment. It moves us to open up more to knowledge that is imparted to help us in our daily life and to challenge our human nature.
We recommend the oratory to whoever wants to truly understand the privilege to get to know Christ and how His word can bring about transformation. In conclusion our experience at the Oratory resonates well with the song ‘Jien darba f’għalqa sibt teżor’.
