A reference on the site of the Archdiocese of Malta, prompted me and my wife to attend the Community of the Oratory of the MSSP in B’kara. My wife and I were stunned; truly it was a gift from God. During that time, October 2011, we were passing through a dark patch in our lives. The first time we attended was the Holy Eucharist on a weekday in the evening. The five-minute homily was very soothing and we realized that this was what we were looking for. We continued to attend, and although we had and still have tough challenges, we feel the peace of the Lord and how great HE is.
We feel very blessed, in fact after a short period, the family of my daughter including her three children joined the community.
It is very difficult to choose from the menu of activities which the Oratory offers. But, what impresses us most is the Saturday evening Eucharist. The good feeling during this Mass is great. At the Oratory we find the Spirit of the Lord in a warming community. We thank the Lord for the gift He has awarded us.
